David Levine is a Director focused on mergers and acquisitions and capital raising for hospitals, health systems, physician groups and post-acute care organizations. David joined Cain Brothers in 2015 and has over 10 years’ experience working with both acute care and non-acute care entities in a variety of capital raising and strategic transactions. His notable transactions include Orlando Health’s acquisitions of Bayfront Health St. Petersburg and St. Cloud Regional Medical Center, Fairview Home Care and Hospice’s partnership with AccentCare, University of Louisville’s acquisition of five hospitals from CommonSpirit, MultiCare Health System’s acquisition of Rockwood Health System from Community Health Systems, the divestiture of MDwise health plan by Indiana University Health to McLaren Health Care, Vanderbilt University Medical Center’s spin-off from Vanderbilt University, the academic affiliation between Fairview Health Services and the University of Minnesota, Isabella Geriatric’s affiliation with MJHS, and over $500 million in capital raises for organizations such as The Evangelical Lutheran Good Samaritan Society, Kingswood Senior Living Community, Riverside Health System, and Prime Healthcare Foundation.
Prior Experience
Prior to joining Cain Brothers, David was a High Yield Credit Analyst at AllianceBernstein where he focused on the acute care hospital and senior living sectors. His prior experience also includes working as an Associate in AllianceBernstein’s Global Wealth Management division.
Education
David earned a BA from Yeshiva University where he majored in Biology and minored in Business & Management. He is also a CFA charterholder.
