Andy Redinger is Managing Director and Group Head of the North America Utility, Power, and Renewable Energy Practice of KeyBanc Capital Markets (KBCM).
With more than two decades of experience in the sector, Andrew has provided specialized investment banking services to some of North America’s largest energy companies, which include public and private companies that build, own, and operate energy infrastructure. Since the Utility, Power and Renewable Energy team was formed in 2007, Redinger has spearheaded the bank’s growth in renewables, resulting in Key committing more than $18.5 billion to renewable energy, becoming one the largest providers of renewable project financings and advisory services in North America. Under his leadership, the practice has over $8 billion of KBCM’s balance sheet committed to renewable energy clients as of year-end 2022 and has successfully advised leading energy companies in private capital raises, acquisitions, and divestiture assignments. KBCM has structured and financed a cumulative capacity of more than 42.9 gigawatts of renewable energy projects and provides services to clean technology firms in the power generation, smart grid, energy management, and pollution control sectors. In solar, KBCM has more than double the M&A transaction experience of its industry competitor.
Andrew received a Bachelor of Science degree in economics from Purdue University and holds an MBA in finance from Loyola University.
